Happy Tamari Seeds. Šťastné tamari semiačka.

I saw something like this done in health food shops. So I thought, why not to make it myself? And here we go. These happily toasted and salty seeds are so good, that if you´d put the whole jar of these lovelies in front of my boy, he´d munch on them until there´d be only a few left and then he would walk away and blame me why I put it in front of him.
They really are totally delicious and totally addictive. My advice to you? Take a handful from the jar, hide the jar behind your nut butters in the fridge and run.
Sunflower seeds are amazing source of vitamin E, which makes your hair go all shiny and your skin beautiful. They are an excellent source of B vitamins. Rich in proteins and amazing in wholegrain rye bread.
Pumpkin seed, the green chubby seed. High in zinc, B vitamins, iron and magnesium. And, believe it or not, if you include them in your diet, you´ll start sleeping better. (Scientists have started putting pumpkin seed extract in multivitamin pills and sleeping aids.)

Happy Tamari Seeds

about 2 cups mixed seeds (sunflower and pumpkin seeds)
1 tsp chilli flakes (I used 1 tablespoon, because I love the heat)
3-4 tbls tamari sauce

Preheat your oven to 200°C. Spread your seeds with chilli flakes onto a baking sheet. Put to the preheated oven and toast until fragrant and lightly golden, about 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. (Don´t burn them.)
When toasted, splash the tamari sauce all over them, mix with a wooden spoon (they´ll start acting gooey and sticky) and put back to the oven for additional 2-3 minutes. Take out of the oven, let cool. Transfer to a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to 3-4 weeks. But believe me, they´ll be gone right away.

Presne taketo nieco som videla vylozene na regaloch v obchodoch so zdravou vyzivou.

cca 2 salky semiacok (mix slnecnicovych a tekvicovych)
1 lyzicka chilli vlociek (ja pouzivam az 1 lyzicu, lebo mam naozaj rada ako ´horia´)
3-4 lyzice tamari

Pomiesajte ich vareskou a vrate nazad do rury. Pecte este dalsie 2-3 minuty. Vyberte z rury, nechajte vychladnut. SKladujte v uzavretej sklenej nadobe v chladnicke po dobu 3-4 tyzdnov. Ale verte mi, tak dlho nevydrzia.
